Welcome!

 Welcome to my blog!

My name is Jose Hernandez and this is my blog.
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Central Florida pursuing my M.S in Mathematics. Some of my passions include Mathematics (obviously), Programming, Finance, Healthcare, and learning about our universe. While not at work or studying, I spend most of my free time researching problems in the Finance & Healthcare industry, Freelance tutoring, and Running.

I seek to transform data I obtain into useful information for everyone. One of my latest examples of this was a personal analysis I conducted about my own stock trading strategies. I am fascinated by making money on the side by trading and I wanted to test out my methods. I heard about TD Ameritrades 'Think or Swim' platform and how you can trade/practice with paper money. So, I created an account. In short I had 100k to trade with and I restricted my self to only trade only 5 companies and to never be in a position over night. Trading consistently I managed to show some impressive results. Additionally, I showed what accuracy my method used was giving me. You can view the full report on my LinkedIn page, there you can also find other projects I've done using Machine Learning algorithms to create an Automated Financial Analysis Program, COVID-19 Analysis, and more.

You can visit the 'Your Analysis' page on this blog to do a free personal automated financial report.  There are currently two options, 'Debt Management' and 'Savings Plan'. Only needing to fill out some questions that will take roughly 5-10 minutes a personalized report is sent to your email with the report, suggestions, and a personalized plan.

The purpose of this blog is to be a free quick source of information for those that not only seek knowledge in Saving, Investing, and Debt but also insight on topics in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Hope my blog is useful, enlightening, and you will share with others in your network.
